Start Saving Your Money

In a post  entitled "Bond Villain Yard Sale,"  super - geek website io9 explains that for only $17.9 million, you can have this:

It's a secret submarine hide-out off the north coast of Norway called the Olavsvern Naval Base. It was built by NATO during the Cold War to be used by American submarines operating in the Arctic Ocean. It includes a sub-docking station, a tunnel system and an above ground property that is 38,000 square feet of office buildings, residential suites, a workshop and a warehouse. As your submarine goes through the tunnel entrance shown above, it pulls up to the docking station:

I personally think this would be way better than a retirement condo in Florida or Arizona. We just have to spend the money for  the Norwegian Rosetta Stone software. I don't want to accidentally buy any lutefisk at the neighborhood grocery store. Even Diet Coke won't wash that stuff down.

So I am more than happy to let you come visit and even stay for the weekend if you chip in to help pay for this. Just let me know and I'll have the sub bay doors open so you can glide right in. If you don't have a submarine, I'm sure we can tie up your pontoon boat just fine.

Takk.  Velkommen til norge.
